Breaking Bad S05E13: To'hajiilee

Genius Vince Gilligan and his army of equally brilliant writers' foreshadows bring me so much terror more than what actually happened/will happen on the characters in this series. You have an idea of what's going to happen but when it does, it doesn't make you feel any better.

Watching the last 7 minutes of To'hajiilee was dreadful. The handcuffing. Hank's call to Marie. The shootout. Literally weakening.

I love you Vince Gilligan but you are one cruel bastard.

Warning: spoiler pictures ahead.

PS: We are now left with the last 3 episodes of the series I can't even.

All New Season of The Newsroom

So glad The Newsroom's back! Glad to see the whole ACN crew back. Sloan's awkward convo with Don? She totally nailed it.

But.

I wonder what happened to Maggie in Uganda. Her hair is terrible! On the up side, she and Don finally called it quits. Now please Jim, get your ass back to New York pronto.

Catching Up On Breaking Bad

I'm currently on a Breaking Bad rampage marathon and it is affecting my life. Well, in a good way. No, I don't know a jack about meth (okay maybe I probably know more now after watching episodes after episodes) but I'll never gonna sniff that evil stuff no matter how pretty those blue crystals might seem.

These two, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, have been my constant companion for 3 straight weeks now. I actually dream of them every now and then. What would Heisenberg do? Even though I know that they are the bad guy, you can't help but root for them. The Sopranos, remember them?

Got it from here

And everytime Jesse Pinkman cries on the show, I die a little each day. Chos! You should really see him in his crying scenes. He is splendid! He is now in my list of great crier such as Shia LaBeouf and Ben Foster. The guys who just wrenches your heart and make you feel for them with every tear that falls.

I just finished watching season 3 and first episode of season 4 last night. I can't wait to catch up til season 5. Gus Fring seriously gave me the heebie jeebies with the Box Cutter episode. I always look forward to getting home and watching 3 or 4 episodes more before sleeping. This is the only TV series that I religiously and patiently marathon-ed just to catch up. And I don't regret it.

Of Revenge, Suits and Scandal

My friend Reg has been bugging us for the longest time to watch Revenge but you know me, I have so many unimportant stuff going on I don't make the time to watch TV series anymore. So when I finally did, boy I was hooked. As in literally I would stay up late into the night (or morning) watching a few episodes. I even missed to download episode 21 so I streamed it online before watching the season finale episode lol. So thank you, Reg!!

Whaddya say? In Manila, we have all sorts of telenovelas similar to Revenge but you know, without the Hamptons and all that richie-rich stuff. I love Nolan Ross. Poor Jack Porter. Meh Emily Thorne. Even Meh-er Daniel Grayson. Ick Amanda Clarke (not the real one). Ugh Conrad. Ugh-er Charlotte Grayson. Poorer Declan Porter. Vavavavoom Victoria Grayson. Haha. I know she's annoying but I really like how Madeleine Stowe's playing the Victoria character. You know what, Nolan Ross and Victoria Grayson are the only characters who make Revenge interesting and worth watching :)

So what do you think of the season finale? I don't know about you but Victoria Grayson is sure as hell not dead. Yun lang pohw!

Oh Suits. Oh Harvey Specter. Oh Mike Ross. Are all lawyers in New York these hot? Harvey will definitely get into your nerves but you'll love him and you can't go back (Sorry Donna!) hee.

And don't get me started with Harvey and Donna ship. OMG best tandem/couple ever! Not that a romantic relationship has already been established between these two but I'm betting my ass they had a thing years ago!! Setting aside emotional competence, do you think Harvey sees himself with Mike? I mean relationship-wise and intelligence-wise?

Oh man. The agony of waiting for new episodes each week. Give us moooore!!

Olivia Pope and Associates. Gladiator in Suits. I see a trend (or it's normal. yeah it could be) that lawyers talk really, really fast and have really, really long speeches when they're threatening someone or if they want that person to have a change of heart.

Like Suits, Scandal is a very smart show. You think you know but you really don't know. I really want Olivia to be happy and fine, President Fitz too, but Cyrus Beene summed it up with “Some men aren’t meant to be happy. They’re meant to be great.” Ano pang laban mo dun di ba!? Kaya please Olivia, kayo na lang ni David hihihi.

Frankly, this show has the best season cliffhanger ever. Who the heck are you Quinn Perkins?!? Not even a clue. Will have to wait for season 2 for answers, bummer.

Right now Homeland marathon is still ongoing so I'll give my (unnecessary) thoughts about the show when I'm done watching it.

Happy Friday!

The Walking Dead Season 2 Premiere

I already forgot how long everybody, including me, has to wait for The Walking Dead's second season premier. It was that looong. But boy was it worth it? Oye.

Although when did hiding under the car made the zombie ignore the smell of human flesh? Labo. Also, season 2 premiere ep's ending wasn't the ending I expected. I'm sure it wasn't the sign Rick Grimes asked for. Oh well. Can't wait for second episode (it showed new people/characters!).

An Idiot Abroad

At first, it would be hard to believe that Ricky Gervais is actually friends with the star of An Idiot Abroad - a chap from Manchester named Karl Pilkington. Ricky constantly making fun out of the bloke, with his ridicules and gaily laughter at the expense of the other guy, you wouldn't believe it at all.

But they are. Really.

After all, he personally asked the guy to star in a travel series (co-executive producers with his other mate, Stephen Merchant).

I find Mr. Pilkington a very unique person. His eccentricities are something that I, perhaps never could've imagine to be possessed by another human being. The man who seemed to be frowning most of the time, as if contemplating the deep science of the universe, faraway looks that compel you to ask yourself "what exactly is this man thinking at this moment?"

He might not know a lot of things and might often hold an odd opinion about what he sees, he really is a charming man. I enjoy watching him as he go to places a lot of people, including me, are dying to go only to blurt out funny and quirky remarks.

If you haven't seen An Idiot Abroad yet, I suggest you watch it. Now.

Raising Hope

My current TV series addiction. Hilarious Grandma V and Grandpa Burt, odd Maw Maw and dorky Dad, but Hope, Hope is too precious for words.

Chuck's Back!

Not until September 20 though! My favorite fictional nerdy bestfriends are baaack! I'm really, really excited about season 4 - how the show will progress, recurring characters, "hot spy", "awesome" news and other story twists.

Posted by Joshua Gomez aka Morgan on his twitter account

You saw that right? Momma B. is played by none other than Linda Hamilton aka Terminator's Sarah Connor. Yay!

GLEEk!

Prepare to get slushed!

It's a shame I won't be home when Glee (as well as BBT, HIMYM, Chuck and Modern Family) premieres. But it's alright, I can always download it when I get back. I'm excited! Not really so much because a Filipino will be on it (yay for that!) but simply because it's a new season.

This one I will totally dig me thinks: Brittany vs Britney. Wonder how Brittany will fare, it'll be hilarious for sure!

New guests and from what I've been seeing from promo videos, new characters. This will be a very interesting new season indeed.

I did not get the promo vid where Charice Pempengco was in basically because I don't like the 2 girls talking before getting on the preview itself haha.

Chuck Versus The Best Friend

I've always dreamt of a childhood bestfriend like the ones in TV series: Joey Potter & Dawson Leary, Kevin Arnold & Paul Pfeiffer, Cory Matthews & Shawn Hunter. Even Chuckie Finster and Tommy Pickles have been bestfriends since well, since they were rugrats!

Now, I have yet another TV show bestfriends that I'm immensely envious of.

Chuck Bartowski and Morgan Grimes.

This episode (Season 2, Episode 14) has got to be one of my favorite episodes ever. I've always been a sucker for bestfriend relationships, whether fictional or not. I value my friendship with each and every one of my friends with such reverence. Although some friendships may vary on different levels, one thing I'm sure of is that , and there is a great possibility that they are unaware of it, I appreciate and love them more than they will ever expect nor can imagine.

Chuck pretty much explained it why:

Sarah Walker: No, I get it he's your best friend.

Chuck Bartowski: You know you say that, but I don't think you have a clue what it means. Sarah, I don't have parents. I don't really talk about it because that's the way things are now. But it wasn't always this way. Morgan was there the first day my mom took off. He didn't say much. Because honestly what's a fifth grader supposed to say? But we sat there and split a cherry cheesecake and played Legend of Zelda all night long. And my dad, well that's - that's a whole other story. But Morgan was there for that too. Morgan is more than just my best friend. He's my family! Before you got here, and long after you've gone, Morgan is my family!

Doppelganger

"You can ask the universe for signs all you want but ultimately, we only see what we wanna see when we're ready to see it."
~ Ted Mosby, Episode 24, HIMYM

I can agree with what Ted said to Robin, that sometimes we are are own doppelganger. What we were a few years back compared to what we are now could be totally unrelated/different/far-fetched idea. It's not actually impossible.
And I believe this is HIMYM's season finale episode. Sniff.

2:17

Yep. My happy pill since March. The excitement of a new episode alone is killing me each time. I believe season 1 is almost over already, what will I ever do when you take your season break gaah!

TBBT Overload

You've been warned. This post is a Big Bang Theory fest. I missed these guys. Lookit from the first photo, they're back from the North Pole, looking like cave men, except for Sheldon who looked like a villain. :) Can't wait for Season 3 to air!

The nerds are back from the North Pole!

Reality show rantings

anong nangyayari sa AI? bakit naman naalis si Gedeon?!!sayang, maraming nagru-root kay chicken little na maalis tapos sya pa yung nag-survive!oh well.botohan nga talaga.tungo naman tayo sa PBBCE. nak ng *%&$! nakakairita to the max talaga yang kuya na yan a. sino ba sya para paglaruan ang damdamin (naks) ng mga players nya? nakakainis lang kasing isipin na lagi na lang nyang ginagawa 'to e nakakaasar naman talaga.hmmpp..twist your face!

Bukas, starstruck naman!kahit di ko napanood to ng buo (dahil wala naman talagang pag-asa na magkaroon at nakakainis karamihan sa kanila), sana ang piliin ng tao e yung deserving pa rin talaga. i still believed in what chuck told the national TV last Sunday, that at the end of the day, it still boils down to marky and iwa! wala kong pakialam sa babae pero sana naman pairalin ng mga tao kukote nila at si MARKY ang manalong ULTIMATE SOLE SURVIVOR! nyahaha.

i am so sad kasi for the umpteenth time ay nagpalit na naman ng cable sa bahay. kaines! walang Star World, Star Movie, AXN at Cinemax . kaasar! di tuloy ako makanood ng Amazing Race 9! tsktsk.

Roland was Aragorn

Nakakapraning kasi pwede sya if ever! Dark haired nga lang dapat sya at mas toughie. as of that moment e never pang sumagi sa isip ko kung sino ang pwedeng gumanap na Roland kung magkakaroon man ng film adaptation ang Dark Tower Series (although mahirap!). Ayun, spur of the moment lang talaga. At excited na talaga kong matapos tong series na to kaya talagang hiniram ko na kay Popsie yung 2 remaining books. Can't wait.

As for Lord of the Rings. sobrang nasa high order of my movie list ang trilogy na ito, lalo na yung Return of the King.nakakamiss na nga yung mga casts e. san na kaya sila ngayon. si merry e nasa Lost (o si pippin?) si elijah ba san na kaya? si viggo unfortunately di ko napanood yung latest fim nya. sayang. Aragorn and Roland Deschain of Gilead...ultimate role if ever. :)
