Wednesday LOVE

When I lifted the first few pages of the Gunslinger, I didn't realize that will be the start of a new addiction. Yes, I talked about Roland Deschain, Dean, Jake and Susanna as if they were acquaintances, not really giving much thought that they are fictional and just a by-product of Stephen King's brilliant mind.

I will probably never get over the Dark Tower series, not even after it's been long and forgotten. Even if the ending was not the ending I expected, I still love everything about it. I miss the ka-tet and Oy. Even the Crimsong King.

Back to the Path of the Beam

Just like how Eddie Dean feels whenever the ka-tet get lost sight of the beam but eventually finds it again, i too, felt the same way. I found my own beam back, thank goodness for that, and the past hazy days are now but all part of the past.

My frustration from last week's activities' ended at exactly 6:40 pm, when juraine stayed with me for a while (while we hoard foods from AS!). Of course, everything wasn't OK then, but at least I was smiling again. When I entered the Fair that night, i didn't know that it was gonna be a LONG but eventful night and that it gave me back all the happiness I lost along the way that fateful week.

the Best parts of the Night:
1. Seeing Honey again after a long, long time! Mahabang istorya na punung-puno ng drama but what mattered most was, she was there, just as she promised!
2. On a more personal matter, i am so relieved that everything went alright between ----- and me. It beats winning a contest.
3. Master Rapper Francis M.'s performance in the fair. Akala ko never ko na syang mapapanood ng live, sobrang nakakatuwa.. and the crowd..napaka-solemn nila nung kinanta ni Francis M. yung kaleidoscope world.
4. Meeting Azilana! :)
5. Yung idea lang na kasama ko ang mga orgmate ko that night (especially the young ones), nakakatuwa na yun.
6. Stonefree's Ikot performance. Napa-haaaay na lang ako.
7. the long walk home at 4:30 am.

Basically, i'm feeling good despite my very much failing standing in Math 14. Probably because i already accepted it. Most of the time, acceptance is all we can do in order to move forward again. So, until then.

Roland was Aragorn

wala munang OTH para sakin (and the likes). di pa nila pinapalabas sa star world. di naman ako makanuod sa ETC kasi ang aga. Pero Smallville naman pumalit e kaya ayos lang din. so, habang nagchachanel surf ako kagabi nakita kong Return of the King ang palabas sa HBO. As always amazed na naman ako. Narealize ko that night na sa big screen ko pa sya las na napanood. Dahil nga sa namesmerize ako e pinanood ko na din kahit yung last hour na lang. Ang ganda talaga. nakita ko na naman si (my) King Aragorn at bigla kong inimagine sya bilang si Roland the Gunslinger. Nakakapraning kasi pwede sya if ever! Dark haired nga lang dapat sya at mas toughie. as of that moment e never pang sumagi sa isip ko kung sino ang pwedeng gumanap na Roland kung magkakaroon man ng film adaptation ang Dark Tower Series (although mahirap!). Ayun, spur of the moment lang talaga. At excited na talaga kong matapos tong series na to kaya talagang hiniram ko na kay Popsie yung 2 remaining books. Can't wait.

As for Lord of the Rings. sobrang nasa high order of my movie list ang trilogy na ito, lalo na yung Return of the King.nakakamiss na nga yung mga casts e. san na kaya sila ngayon. si merry e nasa Lost (o si pippin?) si elijah ba san na kaya? si viggo unfortunately di ko napanood yung latest fim nya. sayang. Aragorn and Roland Deschain of Gilead...ultimate role if ever. :)
